You can also scan to see if the target ID has their webcam being broadcast on Yahoo Messenger!  These are in reference to the numbers in red in the image above:

1. Simply click the Scan Webcam Status button (figure 1) and then scan as normal.  You will see the result in the "Cam is:" field.  YInformer will also scan all 3 of Yahoo's webcam servers, not just one of them!

Extra:

YInformer will remember to scan webcam status as well, so you do not always have to click it.  Webcam scanning is activated when the button appears depressed in (figure 1), otherwise it will look like a normal form button.
